Sustainability Policy

Returns have an environmental and commercial cost. Revaru’s role is to help merchants make each return decision clearer, more measurable, and more responsible.

1. Build for better decisions

We design Revaru to help merchants understand why products come back, apply consistent policies, and choose the right resolution. Better information can help reduce avoidable shipments, identify product issues, and keep suitable exchanges in play.

2. Avoid unnecessary movement

Revaru supports returnless outcomes and merchant-defined routing where appropriate. The merchant remains responsible for deciding when an item should be returned, kept, repaired, donated, recycled, or handled in another way.

3. Measure before making claims

We do not publish unverified carbon savings, offsets, or environmental impact figures. As Revaru develops reporting capabilities, we aim to distinguish measured data from estimates and explain the method behind any public sustainability claim.

4. Responsible software operations

  • Use infrastructure capacity thoughtfully and avoid unnecessary data processing.
  • Retain personal and operational data only for defined business or legal needs.
  • Prefer durable, maintainable systems over wasteful short-lived implementation.
  • Evaluate suppliers on security, reliability, privacy, and responsible business practices.

5. Continuous improvement
